Don't play RetroBowl 25 yet. It might have fun artwork, but that's literally it. It's missing several gameplay features of the original retro bowl, for seemingly no reason. It's just a cash grab as of right now. You get a random mix of star players from each team, to balance the way cap works. Its just a less feature filled version, that's exclusive to Apple arcade.
The handing off controllers reminded me of playing 4th and Inches from Accolade with my family on the C64. My dad's best friend would come over and we'd have a 4 player tournament that included my older brother. It marked the last time my dad was competitive in a football game. Eventually, we age out of modern gaming lol. I played the retro college game on my phone for some dynasty seasons. :) Love feeling like I can master the controls again.

I mean, "don't play" is pretty extreme when the other Retro Bowl is already sitting there on Apple Arcade, as well, without any ads.

I've played Retro Bowl for a couple of years now and I'm super excited for the official NFL version whenever it comes to Android.
