Thank you for sharing your story. Hearing about people struggling to conceive (from you, from friends and family, etc.) fills me with frustration for our national leaders who have failed to move the needle on climate change, toxic chemicals affecting reproductive health, and the basic affordability question when starting a family. I always find it a small miracle when anyone I know WANTS to have a kid, so to see them struggle so hard with multiple rounds of fertility treatment breaks my heart. Sending you my best.

This is a very personal story, thanks for sharing it. I have 3 children now, but my wife and I did encounter setbacks too to get our family. The feelings of loss and what could have been are difficult to overcome, maybe more so from the perspective of the mother.

About a more positive looking future, I just wanted to say that playing games as a parent doesn't end if you don't want it to. The longer games get harder to play, but not impossible. I'm still playing Tears of the Kingdom on and off, it just takes a lot longer to finish. Your outlook just changes a bit to fit your new life.

And there is a significant bonus in that you now have people to share your passion with. Maybe not the complicated mature games at first, but playing anything together with your children provides so much fun. Plus watching them develop their own tastes and learning what they like is great to see.
